Aretha Franklin was filmed with a choir at the New Temple Missionary Baptist Church in Watts, Los Angeles in 1972. She is accompanied by the Southern California Community Choir, while recording her famous gospel album, Amazing Grace. This documentary is the never before seen footage of the recording sessions, providing a powerful performance that will never be forgotten.
